Recording

Select and arm the intended track, choose your MIDI source when needed, and press Record. Audio input needs macOS microphone permission. If access was denied, review MixHarbor’s microphone access in System Settings. Recording into a MIDI instrument track does not need microphone access.

Saving and recovery

Save As creates a separate project in a folder you choose. Keep the entire .mixharbor project package together so its media stays with its arrangements. If the app reports damaged or interrupted work, use its recovery controls and keep the original package until you have verified the recovered project.

Playback and export

If the audio device changes, playback stops so the graph can be rebuilt safely. Press Play after selecting your intended device in macOS. If an arrangement ends before the comparison position, choose an earlier position or restart it. Export settings apply to the arrangements you select.

What to include

Tell us your macOS and MixHarbor versions, the steps you took, the message shown and what you expected. A small project with generated or nonconfidential material is usually enough to reproduce a problem. Please omit unreleased recordings, personal information and credentials.
