MIXHARBOR
Privacy
Effective September 5, 2026 · MixHarbor 1.0 · Trieflow LLC
MixHarbor keeps your audio, MIDI notes, arrangements and mix settings in project files and app storage on your Mac. The app does not send your projects, recordings or usage information to Trieflow. It has no account, advertising, analytics SDK or cloud synchronization service.
Recording and MIDI
Audio recording requires macOS microphone permission and an explicit Record action. You choose the track to record. MIDI recording uses the input source you select. Recordings and notes are written into the current project; they are not uploaded to a Trieflow server.
macOS and any audio or MIDI devices and services you choose control their own permissions and connections. You can revoke microphone access in System Settings.
Projects, autosaves and recovery
MixHarbor projects store their own copies of imported media. The app keeps autosaved project generations and may retain partial audio takes so that interrupted work can be recovered. Unsaved projects use MixHarbor’s local app storage.
Removing a region from an arrangement does not necessarily remove its underlying media from the project. Earlier generations and recovery files may still contain earlier work. To remove a project’s stored content, remove the project package and any separate copies, exports or backups you made.
Files you choose
Opening, importing, saving and exporting use files or folders you select. The app reads file metadata to validate project contents and detect interrupted or changing imports. Exported audio is a separate file that you control. Operating-system backups and any cloud storage or sharing services you choose follow their providers’ settings and policies.
App Store and diagnostics
App Store purchases and any diagnostics you choose to share through Apple are handled under Apple’s privacy settings and policies. MixHarbor does not require a separate Trieflow account.
